When
Wednesday, March 31, 2021
5:00 PM

Zoom

Briscoe Architectural Conservation will be presenting on several methods of structural reinforcement and stabilization they have used on a variety of projects in Texas. These include "stitching" masonry walls with helical stainless steel rod; reinforcement of wood beams and joists with fiberglass rebar; and installations of tie rods and bond beams. Often, these interventions are guided by LiDAR documentation of the structure in consultation with a structural engineer.
